Certification of quality

In order to transform our high quality requirements into a quality strategy with a corresponding quality management system, we have been undergoing the DIN EN ISO 9001 certification process ever since 1995.

In implementing this quality management standard a good 20 years ago, we precisely defined all requirements and processes which serve to fulfil our quality expectations, the statutory and other directives and our customers' wishes. All Nutrilo employees continuously adapt to the changing conditions and the increasing demands which we place on ourselves.


Since 2005, we have also met the IFS (International Food Standard) which places even more stringent demands on companies in the food industry.


The IFS was defined in 2003 by representatives of the European food retail trade and specially developed for companies in the food industry.


It includes the principles of good manufacturing practice (GMP) and the HACCP concept, a comprehensive system for guaranteeing food safety. 


Since we commissioned our new technical centre we meet the GMP conditions and also have a manufacturing licence pursuant to §13 of the German Medicinal Products Act (AMG).  


As a global company, we have been certified to the global BRC standard (British Retail Consortium) since 2010.


The global standard for food safety was developed in order to establish criteria for the safety, quality and operation of a food-producing company which takes into account the legal regulations and consumer protection.


In mid-September 2011, Nutrilo was granted an AEO-F certificate (Authorised Economic Operator – customs simplification and security and safety) from the competent main customs office in Oldenburg.


This now enables easier access to customs simplifications under Art. 14b para. 1 of the Customs Code Implementing Provisions (ZK-DVO) and recognition as a safe trading partner worldwide.
